General Rules & Regulations
Basic League Rules (*all rules subject to change)
- League will be set to All-Madden difficulty level with custom sliders.
- Quarter Length 5 minutes with no accelerated clock.
- Trading players and draft picks are between USERS only, trading with CPU controlled teams is prohibited.
- TGL Trade Deadline is Week 9.
Week to Week Advancing
- Each week in a TGL Season is played over a 3-day period with the league being eligible for early advance 48 hours from previous advance.
- For TGL to be eligible for early advance all USER vs USER games must be completed with it being 48 hours from previous advance.
- USER's who play a CPU controlled team have 48 hours from advance to play their game to avoid a SIM.
- League advance schedule will add an extra day for major holidays.
Common Courtesy
- All League Members / USERS must be respectful to each other.
- It is up to the USER to set up games with other USER's via XBox Live, GroupMe™, Cell Phone etc. and play the game within 3 days.
- DON'T STAND UP A USER! If you can't make a scheduled game time, it is your responsibility to contact your opponent to let them know you will be late or can't make it and reschedule the game for another time. Everyone's time is valuable, don't make people wait around for you.
*Please take into consideration we have members from all over the country so time zones will be a factor when setting up game times.
desync error rule
- The Desync Error Rule has been put in place to give the USER with a substantial lead in a game the highest % opportunity to secure said victory due if an EA Server Desync Error occurs.
- The Desync Error Rule comes into effect if the EA Server connection is lost during the 2nd Half of a game and the difference in score is 17 points of greater. The USER with the lead of 17 points of greater will have the choice to A) Replay the game vs USER or B) Have the Commissioner place opponent on autopilot so the USER can play vs CPU for with a higher % opportunity to win the game.
- If a Desync Error occurs during the 1st Half, regardless of score, the game must be replayed or rescheduled before advance to avoid SIM
- If a Desync Error occurs during the 2nd Half and difference in score is less than 17 points, the game must be replayed or rescheduled before advance to avoid SIM.
- If both USERS agree or are unable to reschedule a rematch before advance, the game will SIM.
Cheating
Players who consistently restart games, play in an unrealistic fashion (onside kicking, running same play over & over again) or become unreliable will be booted from league immediately. TGL is a 'SIM' league, realistic game-play is stressed.
